Beginner Ukulele Lessons
Start your uke journey here! Here's a few of the topics we can cover:
- Ukulele 101: how to hold, how/where to strum, simple chords, creating healthy practicing habits, syncing the left and right hand, strumming patterns and coordination, your first song!
- Fingerpicking 101: how to read tabs and standard notation, how to fingerpick, fingerpicking patterns and techniques
- Song Practices: We'll play a bunch of simple strummers that only need a few chords each, or BYOS (bring your own song)!

Intermediate Ukulele Lessons
Got the basics down but want some more? Here's a few of the topics we can cover:
- Chord Melody 101: combining chords and tabs together in harmonious play
- Chord Exploration: barre chord breakdowns, new chord voicings, movable barre chord shapes
- Right Hand Techniques: triplet strums, percussive ukulele, flares and rolls
- Song Practices: Strumming and switching with intermediate chord shapes, fingerstyle tunes from my tab library

- Ear Training: let's talk all about arranging our own songs! We'll arrange a song of your choice in real time together.
- Fingerstyle Song Requests: Want me to arrange a song for you? I can whip up an arrangement of your favorite song and we'll break it down together.
- Music Theory 101: Building scales, chords, key signatures, and chord progressions!
